Cultural House is located in the traditional village of Pyrgos in Santorini. Pyrgos is a medieval village that dominates the slope of Prophet Elias a location from which all of Santorini can be seen. It was the first capital of the island until 1800. The settlement retains the characteristics of the Venetian Empire. In the village one can find many traditional churches, while mansions, village houses, cobbled streets are in all harmonious coexistence.Walk around the village and see the unique sunset of Santorini from various viewpoints.

Cultural House was renovated in February 2018 using traditional building techniques in combination with and with the help of modern architecture and technology. 

It is located 80 meters from the village square. It is accessible by car and you can find a number of well-known restaurants, wine bar and cafés within stone’s throw of the hotel. The apartments are located in the center of the island and it is ideal for starting all your excursions.


What we provide is Greek hospitality or “Filoxenia”.  Come and live as locals making your stay unforgettable. We offer your breakfast in your room's sitting area. Santorini is famous for its cuisine as are we for our breakfast, prepared daily for you, using traditional recipes of our island.

All of Cultural House’s apartments consist of a bedroom, living room, kitchenette and en suite bathroom.
They are designed to provide you with comfort while you are relaxing as well as being aesthetically pleasing with minimal artistic traditional touches.
The apartments are between 25 to 30 square meters and are separated into two categories, those that have a view of the village and those that look at the sea amphitheatrically.

About us

SANTA IRINI A.E. is a tourist and commercial company that has been active in Santorini for a number of years. It owns the cultural, wine-making center "Cultural Village" in Santorini's Pyrgos. The production of wine from our privately owned vineyards was the dream of our ancestors which has now become reality because of the work of the children and grandchildren of the Chrysos and Tzelepos families. Canava Chrissou & Tselepos winery was created producing award winning wines. "Cultural Village" in cooperation with “Santohouses” can satisfy even the most demanding of visitors in Santorini.
